To begin the enrolment process, we ask families to register their interest in attending a Public Information Session or school tour. The session will give you a good idea of whether your child(ren) will thrive in the Koonwarra Village School environment.
We hold regular Public Information Sessions as the first step in our enrolment process. For further information, please register your attendance by completing an Expression of Interest.
For families seeking to apply for Foundation enrolment for their children, attendance at a Public Information Session is required. The first Public Information Session of each year, held in Term 1, has a Foundation-specific orientation. Please register your interest for this session or another session via the registration link. If you missed this session, please contact us via email.
Families with pre-school-aged children are encouraged to attend our weekly Bush Playgroup during school cycles, as this helps them become familiar with our school and mentors. We also recommend that you read about School Readiness.
We welcome expressions of interest and encourage families to attend an Information Session to learn more about our school and approach. Application Forms are provided at these sessions.

Our Enrolment Policy explains the process, timeline, and approach for allocating places. Please note that while we welcome enrolment enquiries, we are only able to offer enrolment to students who are either living or have secured housing within our catchment areas (approximately half an hour’s drive from Koonwara).
Enrolment Offer
After a successful transition (Foundation students) or a two-week trial (Grades 1-6), enrolment places are confirmed. To accept the places, families need to complete the Enrolment Agreement and Enrolment Form.
School Fees
KVS fees in 2026 are $4,567.02 ($1141.75 per term) per child per year which includes all snacks throughout the day, lunch, excursions, camps and learning materials.

Our KVS Parent Handbook is a comprehensive guide to day-to-day life at KVS, providing valuable information about daily routines and addressing commonly asked questions about our school.
The KVS School Calendar contains most of the important dates for the year, including cycle breaks, Foundation student rest days, and student-free days for mentor planning, report writing and professional development. The community is notified about special events via email and our closed Facebook group.
